Who am I?
Hi, I am Paul Li. I’m a Software Developer, Tech Lead, Team Lead. For the most part of my career, I have been working in software consulting business. Most part of my job involves Consulting, Solution Design, Tech leading projects and managing software teams.
Background
I have a Masters in Information System, a Bachelor of Science and Commerce conjoint degree. I knew a pure technical degree wouldn’t be enough for today’s world. Luckily, I was right back then. I might start my PhD at some stage, hopefully soon…
My philosophy about software
I believe that software, just like anything else, should be a tool that helps businesses prosper, not the other way around. A lot of people believe in perfect software, while I believe in a great tool for a good job in hand. We as technology experts should try to find, build and deliver great solutions for customers that balances all the real life constraints, e.g. time, budget and even technical choices.
